Initiate's Staff

This gnarled wood staff is topped with a small amethyst crystal. As a bonus action while you hold the staff, you can cause the crystal to emit bright light in a radius up to 30 feet, and dim light for the same radius beyond that. You can also use a bonus action to douse the light.

When you deal damage with a spell that you cast using this staff as the material component, you can reroll one of the spell's damage dice. You must use the new roll.
