Treetop Foragers: The Treeguard ignores difficult terrain caused by non-magical plants and trees.
Actions
Multi-attack: The Treeguard can make two attacks with its Staff-sling.
Staff-sling Strike: Melee weapon attack: +7 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit: 8 (1d8+4) bludgeoning damage, and an additional 1d6 damage if the target is Medium or larger.
Staff-sling Shot: Ranged weapon attack: +7 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit: 7 (1d6+4) bludgeoning damage, and an additional 1d6 damage if the target is Medium or larger.
Glowcorn Bullet (1/sr): The Treeguard shoots a Glowcorn from its staff-sling. If it hits, the target must succeed on a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw or become coated in sticky, glowing sap. This sap prevents the target from going invisible, and grants advantage on attack rolls against them for one minute. A creature can use an action to scrape the sap off itself or another creature, ending the effect. Alternatively, the Treeguard crushes the Glowcorn, gaining the effect of the Light cantrip.
Red pandas live in treetops of temperate forests, preferring those at higher altitube. They are generally not hostile to invaders. If cornered, they will stand on their hind legs to make themselves bigger in an attempt to scare away any invaders before resorting to violence.
These pandas are deep red in color, with black legs and belly. Their faces are also red with a white muzzle, eyebrows, cheeks and ears. Their bushy tail has several bands of lighter fur.
If a panda was captured, it might be possible to domesticate it. The Find Familiar spell can conjure a red panda.
