The Dragon
Dragons are vain, power-hungry creatures. Submitting to their service is a risky endeavor, but the power they promise is almost limitless.
Dragon Blast
1st-level Dragon feature
When you select this subclass, you choose what color your dragon patron is. Eldritch Blast can now also deal damage of the type associated with your patron, and gains an additional effect depending on the color of your patron. You also learn to speak, read, and write Draconic.
Patron Color | Damage Type | Additional Eldritch Blast effect |
---|---|---|
Red, Gold, Brass | Fire | Eldritch Blast's damage die increases to d12. |
Blue, Bronze | Lightning | Eldritch Blast scores a critical hit on a 19. |
White, Silver | Cold | Targets hit by Eldritch Blast have their movement speed reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. |
Green | Poison | Targets hit by Eldritch Blast have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the start of your next turn. |

Dragon Scales
6th-level Dragon feature
You begin to take on the appearance of your patron, with parts of your skin becoming hard and scaly. You gain resistance to the damage type associated with your patron, and your AC becomes 10 + your Charisma modifier + your Dexterity modifier while you are not wearing armor or a shield.
Draconic Visage
10th-level Dragon feature
As a bonus action, you can unleash the dragon within you. You sprout wings that give you a fly speed of 60 feet. While this transformation lasts, you can ignore resistance to your patron's damage type and you have blindsight to a range of 30 feet.
This effect lasts for 1 minute, or until you become incapacitated. Once used, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest, or expend a warlock spell slot to use it again.
Dragon Incarnate
14th-level Dragon feature
As an action, you can use a sliver of your patron's power to unleash a breath weapon in a 30 foot cone. All creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, they take 10d8 damage of the type associated with your patron, or half as much on a successful save. Once you do this, you must finish a long rest before you can do it again, or expend a warlock spell slot to use it again.
