It has been many months since I left the supervision of Mother Superior during the last equinox. I was released from her service after I was blessed by the Soulcatcher herself.

Me and the Superior were hunting down a foul sorcererous necromancer who was hoping to prolong his life. He thought he could cheat the White Lady by not killing a human soul and aimed to drain the life force of the wildlife.

Pathetic. I plunged my blade through him and then I was struck by a revelation, the boon of the beast. Oskar, my dear leopard, now accompanies on my travels and helps me conduct the rites. I’m now heading to the miserable city of Greystone. I much prefer the wilds...

Mother Superior was both right and wrong about this place. Miserable in most places and many of the folk place more value in coin than in their life. However, the soul wheel turns so frequently. My services are needed at least twice daily and thus I’ve gained plenty of coin.

At the Jolly Fowl bar, a noble paladin named Sigismund Heldenhammer told me tales of the undead being raised from the nearby cemetery. Our inquiries have led to two names. Belor Hathavir and Raphael Costeau. The local folk laugh when I ask about Raphael, I am told he couldn’t possibly be the cause of this. I find his origins to be a bit suspect along with tales about him using the soul of a mighty elven warrior as a weapon.

First, I must return the souls back to Hel at this cemetery and sanctify the area before I continue the trail of Raphael. Prior to doing this though, Sigismund has told me we should first attend an upcoming play that will reveal more.
