11 / 11

Slow Fall: Luthanna can reduce fall damage she takes by up to 40.

Evasion: If Luthanna is subjected to an effect that forces her to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, she takes no damage on a success, and only half damage if she fails.

Actions

Multiattack: Luthanna can attack twice with Radiant Sun Bolts or Unarmed Strikes. Afterwards, as a bonus action, she can attack once more, or twice more by spending a Ki point.

Unarmed Strike: Melee weapon attack: +9 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit: 8 (1d6+5) bludgeoning damage. On a hit, Luthanna can spend 1 Ki point to attempt to stun the target. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be Stunned until the end of Luthanna's next turn.

Radiant Sun Bolt: Ranged weapon attack: +9 to hit, reach 30/60ft, one target. Hit: 12 (1d8+8) radiant damage. On a hit, Luthanna can spend 1 Ki point to bathe the target in purging light. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be Blinded until the end of Luthanna's next turn. Undeads, Shapechangers, and creatures with Sunlight Sensitivity have disadvantage on the save. If the triggering attack was a critical hit, the target automatically fails its save.

Searing Sunburst (3 Ki): Each creature within 20 feet of a point within 150 feet must make a Constitution saving throw or take 28 (8d6) radiant damage, or half as much on a save. The area is bathed in bright light, and dim light for 20 feet outside the radius, until the end of your next turn. This light is sunlight.

Stillness of Mind: Luthanna can end an effect that causes her to be Charmed or Frightened.

Healer: Heal a creature for 7 (1d6+4) hp, plus additional hit points equal to the creature's maximum number of hit dice. The creature can't regain hit points from this feature again until they finishes a short or long rest.

Bonus Actions

Step of the Wind (1 Ki): Luthanna takes the Dodge, Dash, or Disengage action.

Reactions

Deflect Missile: Luthanna can reduce the damage she takes from ranged weapon attacks by 21 (1d10+16). If the damage is reduced to 0, she can spend 1 Ki to throw it back at the target, dealing 8 (1d6+5) damage (range 20/60).

Characteristics

Personality
  • Nothing can shake my optimistic attitude.
    • "Oh well, its only rain. It could be snowing!"
    • "That was close. Now we know how to beat them next time!"
  • I've spent so long living in the temple that I have little practical experience dealing with people in the outside world.
    • "This place is so dirty. At the sanctum, we kept things much cleaner."
    • "A man came up and asked me for coin, so I gave him my pouch. I wonder if he will give it back once he is done."
    • Insists on praying at sunrise and sunset. Becomes uneasy if she does not.
Ideals
  • Devotion. I live to serve Freya, and only by fully accepting her can we achieve an afterlife in the Folkvang.
    • "The holy scriptures say that those who serve the goddess will be united in Folkvang, her great hall in Asgard."
    • "Freya sent me here to eradicate these darkness-dwellers. Nothing this foul can be allowed to linger in the world."
    • "Lady of Light, grant me a sliver of your radiance in this dark place!"
Bonds
  • I wish to ascend the ranks of my temple and learn its secret.
    • "I have not read the sacred texts myself. When I become an Adept I will."
    • "Apologies, the Sanctum holds many secrets that I am not permitted to tell outsiders."
Flaws
  • I put too much trust in those who wield power within my temple’s hierarchy.
    • "The Justicar of the Eternal Flame told me this herself, and she would never lie!"
    • "The Pilgrims are trusted everywhere good, and feared everywhere evil. No one will lay a hand on us while we wear the emblem."
