Ruby

Rubies come in many different shades of red, from pink to deep crimson red. Regardless, these hard gemstones carry the essence of fire within them, to the extent that some especially magical rubies must be kept in special containers to not ignite flammable materials around them.

Rubies are a symbol of Heimdall, and followers of the Forgeflame treasure these stones. In the Estian Islands, there are several places where rubies can be found, most notably Deephaven and Glimmerstone Quarry.

The rarest rubies are star rubies, in which the light plays to form a six-armed star.
