Blade of the First Sword

Weapon (longsword), paragon (requires attunement by a Crusader Fighter)

This longsword was once the weapon of Octavian Caldesor, First Sword of Tec. He wielded the blade during his service to Empress Herminia Casta.

The broad blade of this longsword is made from gleaming adamantite, and has two deep fullers running along its length. The brass crossguard is shaped like the scales of Sif, and is inscribed with a teccan phrase: In Hoc Signo Vinces - "in this sign shall you be victorious". The handle is wrapped with alternating strips of black and white leather, and the pommel is set with a brilliant sapphire.
