Lucy Phere

I was born and raised in the village of Tel Brimen. My mother Maunina was a sailor but she didn't tell me anything about my father until the age of 16 when I first learned that he was a tiefling and that explained a lot about my appearance (horns and silver eyes) as well as strange magic powers I seemed to possess but didn't fully understand. She met him in one of her journeys and they instantly fell in love, but after my birth he disappeared without any trace. I was sailing from when I was a baby with her.

From the early age of 12 I liked inventions and messing with tinkers, adventures, collecting weird rocks and cooking. Good at telling lies, or not the whole truth, but still naive and spontaneous.

Most people of my village pray to Aegir, but I chose my own fate and it is of course the lovely goddess Idun, I knew she was the one as I saw her and the same evening won 50 gold at cards to the tavern! From then on I knew luck is the best magic and never left me.

At the age of 19 I decided to follow my heart and leave Iacaris for the first time, to search for the source of the magic I can use, but also discover more of the world while doing it. Adventure and travelling was my life and I was about to expand the places I knew.

This lead me to Greystone, a big city that dazzled in comparison to where I was going until now, more sophisticated and noble. I am here for a couple of months now searching for clues for my father, sometimes reading books, which I hardly can understand and sometimes talking to people and looking for my next adventure that can lead me closer to the truth of how magic works and why I have some of it too.

I saw a wizard not too many days ago that was using some very impressive spells and stealthily following him to see more of it. He did not pick up on me yet, and today it seems we are going to the theater for a play. Looks boring, but you never know when the opportunity will strike.
