You conjure a vitriolic cloud that pelts globs of corrosive acid in a 15-foot wide and 25-foot high cylinder within range. The cloud remains for the duration of the spell.
Each creature that enters the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, it takes 7 (3d4) acid damage and it suffers a -2 penalty to its AC until the start of its next turn. On a successful save, it takes half damage and suffers no penalty to its AC.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the radius increases by 5 feet and the damage increases by 2 (1d4) for each level above 2nd.
